“As a parent the school is awesome. I have a kinder and 2 third graders. I am an involved parent and love spending my days there helping all the teachers. The staff is very sweet and is amazing with the children. i am greatful that my children were accepted by the DOC. Today I think its more important than ever for children to have a great education and they are getting here at Collegewood. Thanks”

“My daughter was transferred from Walnut Ele. school. too much disappointment there! Finally, we successfully transferred our daughter into this school. She is now first grader. The teacher, Miss. W., is so nice, warm loving, and caring, together with other 3 first grade teachers, they really make a great team. The principal, Mr. Chang, and the office staff are also very nice, always helpful. To me, for a success of a child, a good school with a good principal, good staff is still not enough, we do need good teachers, good kids with all support of the good parents to make everything possible. We are so grateful. Thank you Collegewood for everything. We are so blessed to be here!”

“I am a parent at this school and I love it!!! My son just started kinder at this school, but I love the whole school. Mr. Chang is great. He makes sure parents are aware of any situation concerning the school. I would hate to change my son to any other school. In fact I can't wait to put my daughter there.”

“My children used to go to Collegewood. Not only they love the school there, me too! All the people there, the staff, the teachers, the kids... are all so nice. I wish I did not have to transfer them out of there, but we moved to another city which is a great school district too. But, we just miss Collegewood very much!”

“The best school in the state if safety and security are concerns. It's built up on a bluff like a fortress, making it very difficult for bad people to sneak in. The teachers are first rate and the facilities like new computer labs keep getting better. Because westhoff has gotten so crowded I'd rate collegewood easily the best school in walnut if not the entire valley.”

“Great teachers, great staff. Special thanks to Dr Brown, who makes ensures that the school is run not only efficient manner,but makes sure to provide the best learning environment for each child. Parents involvement is great for a simple reason, the children love Collegewood. Collegewood emphasizes in character development that is correct, and I have also seen positive changes in my child's attitude. Interaction between parents, faculty, and child is so important, and in Collegewood they make sure to put the extra time and effort for parent and/or child.”

“This is the best school for kids that are having a hard time. My son started there in the middle of last year and Dr.Brown has worked with us and our son to fix things. “Collegewood emphasis on character development and I see positive changes on my child's behavior. I think this is most important when my child is young. My child learn to be thoughtful, sympathize with other people and praise other people. I am very happy to see that she acquired these valuable character traits at a very young age. Collegewood is also in the process to apply Blue Ribbon Award and I have not doubt that they will receive one soon. Overall I am very satisfied with the school. Both teachers and staff are very nice and polite and they set a good example for the students.”

“This is an excellent school. I am so impressed with the teachers' level of professionalism, dedication and true love of teaching they demonstrate. My children love going to school, and I enjoy the caring, open atmosphere the school creates. I have always felt comfortable expressing any concerns (though few) I may have. I feel the teachers truly believe that they are in a partnership with the families in creating the best learning environment for each and every child. I love the kind and caring environment this campus offers. I would whole heartedly recommend any parent to send their child to Collegewood, and feel truly blessed my 4 children are receiving their education from the Collegewood staff.”
